BikeWeekend 2000

Saturday June 17:th we went to BikeWeekend in Västerås.
Maxers from Stockholm, Uppsala and Gävle met up in Enköping
and rode down to the strip together.

Unfortunately we didn't get to run our own Vmax ladder since not enough riders signed up. Only two Maxii participated in the streetbike shoot-out. The Club honour was defended by Kenth Pettersson who had the fastest Max and ran the 1/8 mile at 7.300sek/164kph. It's no secret that most modern crotch-rockets are faster and part from a couple of Bandits and Katanas they dominated the strip with GSX1100:s and Busas in the lead...

Still we had a very nice day out. Lot's of people, many nice
bikes to look at, and splendid weather.
