BikeWeekend in Västerås is one of Swedish motorbike dragracing's yearly highlights. It's the only major national event that sports a Vmax only class, and the Vmax is the only make/model with its own class. It's hosted at Johannisberg airfield outside Västerås and the track is 1/8 mile.

We had rented som cabins outside town and Stefan organized dinner with heering and schnaps. Jan Svensson won the prize for quickest reaction during the qualifications.

Sunday elimination runs offered few surprises. Kjell Nilsson who had been quickest during qualifications won all his runs. The second quickest, Anders Wallén, was the runner-up. The finals were close but Kjell secured a firm win with the quickest run of the weekend.
